Ethical Standards

We have published this Code of Ethics because we want you to know that we are publicly committed to providing the highest quality work, serving our clients with integrity, competence, and objectivity. Consultants, staff and subcontractors subscribe to this Code of Ethics.

  • We will be truthful with our clients and will not knowingly misrepresent facts.
  • We will not advertise our services in a deceptive way.
  • We will not engage in contracts that violate the law or that might reasonably be used by the client to violate the law.
  • We will keep client documents and other information entrusted to us by the client as well as records of client engagements confidential and will not disclose them without the client’s consent.
  • We will not take advantage of confidential client information for ourselves personally or professionally.
  • We will respect the intellectual property rights of our clients, other consulting firms and consultants and anyone else with valid intellectual property rights, and will not use proprietary information or methodologies without permission.
  • We will install and use only properly licensed software on our systems as well as our clients' systems.
  • We will accept only engagements for which we are qualified by our experience and competence and which we can to the best of our knowledge complete in a professional and timely manner.
  • We will assign consultants, staff, and/or subcontractors to client engagements in accord with their experience, knowledge, and expertise.
  • We will keep the client informed of any matters relating to the contract even if the information is unfavorable, or may jeopardize the contract.
  • If we are unable to professionally complete part or all of the contract, we will be forthright and will offer to aid the client in finding resources to complete the contract satisfactorily. We will transfer the necessary knowledge to the client.
  • We will immediately acknowledge any influences on our objectivity to our clients and will offer to withdraw from a consulting engagement when the objectivity of our recommendations may be impaired.
  • We will divulge any potential conflicts of interest prior to accepting the contract or as soon as possible after the conflict is discovered.
  • We will disclose to our clients in advance any fees or commissions that we may receive for equipment, supplies, or services we recommend to our clients.
  • We will come to an agreement with the client on the basis for our fees and expenses prior to the engagement and will charge fees and expenses that are reasonable, legitimate, and commensurate with the services we deliver and the responsibility we accept.
